Simple plans, cancel anytime

Automatic renewal is on by default.

A monthly plan is billed at the start of each monthly period until you cancel.

A plan with a term longer than 60 days renews at the end of the term for a further term of the same length until you cancel.

For any term longer than 60 days, we email you between 30 and 60 days before the renewal date, stating the renewal date, that you may cancel, how to cancel, and that the plan renews if you do nothing.

We attempt to collect the renewal payment shortly before the current period ends and may retry if it fails.

Without payment, access ends when the already-paid period expires. A failed renewal attempt does not cancel access already paid for.

A promotional or discounted price applies to the first term only. Renewals are charged at the standard price current at the time.

Cancel by contacting support at support@tripod.sh.

Cancellation received before the next renewal stops that renewal and any further charge.

Access continues until the end of the current paid period, and we confirm the date in writing.

Cancellation does not by itself entitle you to a refund of the current paid period.

If you are unable to connect, we'll return your money.

If you were genuinely unable to use Tripod VPN during a paid period, including because a government or network blocked it, and no successful traffic was forwarded for your account during that paid period, we refund the payment for that paid period in full, once verified.

Successful traffic means successfully forwarded customer traffic, excluding sign-in, configuration downloads and automatic connectivity checks.

This applies to each paid period separately, including renewals.

Conditions:

• The request is made within 14 days after the payment for that paid period.
• The payment was made by card, not cryptocurrency.
• An approved refund ends access under that plan and cancels renewal.

Choosing not to use a working service is not inability to use it. If successful traffic flowed during a paid period, its payment is not refundable under this rule. Plans are otherwise non-refundable.

To request a refund, tell us which payment it is and describe the problem. Email support at support@tripod.sh.

Your statutory rights are not affected, and the exclusion of cryptocurrency payments applies only to this voluntary refund.

Each plan is for its purchaser's personal use only. You must not share, lend or sell your credentials or access to anyone else.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

You are responsible for whether your use of Tripod VPN is lawful where you use it.

Your use must follow the acceptable-use rules in section 6 of the Terms of Service.

Torrents never go through the VPN, and peer-to-peer traffic that reaches our servers is dropped on every plan.
